Is there a way to tell whether if it's pal or ntsc?
I want to know if you are able to check the version of game without playing in the machine...
I've got a labtop that has dvd.... So would I be able to check by looking at the type of file they are using?? |

Open system.cnf file with an editor,
it should look something this: BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_207.53;1 VER = 1.00 VMODE = NTSC Also, American executables are something like SCUS, SLUS... Europe ones are like SCES, SLES... |

Look on the front of your originals case - it has a small PAL or NTSC or JAP logo in a small white box just underneath the 'PS' logo.

Maybe you can read stuff on the cd which I thought it was only readable by macines....
I know the difference between the originals but I can;t figure out the backups.... Jesus christ ppl overhere just hate sharing information Why do u bother coming here??? Do u even know what a forum means??? It's a place where greeks discussed and shared knowlege Forum wasn't a place where people mock some other ppl cause they don't have some knowlege that you have and you don really have to repeat what lufcfan said u know It's waste of your time and my time and everybody else's time reading it maybe that the stuff I have wrote was implied as selling only the original but I actually ment selling the backup aswell... Thanks for ur info on that but I see no reason to mock ppl like that U may know a lot about ps2 and stuff but ur losing the meaning of forum!!!
