Is there a way to tell whether if it's pal or ntsc?
 

I want to know if you are able to check the version of game without playing in the machine...
I've got a labtop that has dvd....
So would I be able to check by looking at the type of file they are using??

Open system.cnf file with an editor,

it should look something this:

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_207.53;1
VER = 1.00
VMODE = NTSC


Also, American executables are something like SCUS, SLUS...
Europe ones are like SCES, SLES...

Or look at your original you used to make the backup.:mad:

And when I tell him that there are a big difference between NTSC and PAL ver of ttt then he won't bother buying the game....

Look on the front of your originals case - it has a small PAL or NTSC or JAP logo in a small white box just underneath the 'PS' logo.

Oh, Yeah ! It says right on top of the CD ! Duh ;) !!! Ha Ha...

under the black PS logo:

Maybe you can read stuff on the cd which I thought it was only readable by macines....
I know the difference between the originals but I can;t figure out the backups....
