question about soldering the neo2

Hi, to those who have installed the neo2 modchip : To solder pin point 2, you have to remove the white cable from its socket right ?

yes you do have to remove this cable it just pulls out but when you are putting it back in the female ie the the socket has a flap which flips up to insert the cable easily(be carefull i used a small precision screwdriver) or you wont get it in i suppose this would probably be the best way to remove the cable-just gently ease the flap up look at it in very good light and you will see it latches when shut i hope this help dont blame me if you break it blah -blah blah--disclaimer but this is the way to remove this cable..

remove the cable by lifting the flap... the best way is with a fingernail ... much less intrusive than a driver ! Use your nail where the cable enters the connector and lift. Also make sure that the cable is fully home and aligned before closing the connector.
