LCD TV opinions anyone?

Wut up yall? Just wondering your opinions about LCD TVs. I currently have an MSI 6600GT 128mb PCI-E video card with DVI out. I have s video into my living room and a decent 32" 4 x 3 TV in my living room. My boss said he's keeping me busy right till christmas now so with my extra money I'm seriously considering getting an 32" 16 x 9 LCD on boxing day and I was just wondering what peoples general feelings about LCD TVs. What about latency? The display I had my eye on had a .16 ms response time. Is this fast enough to use for my games?

16ms is not bad, but there is better like 8-10ms and some (which offcourse expensive) are 3-4ms.

16ms should be ok for fast refreshing and no tracer effects during gaming.

I have a 30" LCD that i'm running off of the same card. Not sure what the response time is.. I'd have to look in the manual .. and thats waaaaaaay over there.. but uh I actually think it looks pretty nice. I ran the fear demo on it (not sure about what the options were set to) but it played beautifully. I'd say go for it.. Word of advice though.. LCDs tend to get really hot after awhile.. at least mine does so make sure you've got some air moving through that room or it'll get toasty. Good luck.

Got a Philips 19" LCD 190X6. Running at 1280x1024@60Mhz@8ms RT. And it's great.

Cost £270 from PC-World. Plus it's got the Light Frame and a "0" dead Pixel Garentee for 12mths.

What more could one ask for...part from my spelling LoL.

Talking LCD's are real good!!!

Just to let you matez know I bought that 32" LCD TV and I couldn't be happier I've got it set up in my living room with DVI to 15 pin VGA and it looks nuts! Plus I toasted my regular cable service and got a HD satellite receiver with 25 hour HD personal video recorder. Games look F#$*ing insane at my place now.
