Would it be possible to create a custom installer for this game?
ME2 + Updates + All DLCs

I know that size of all DLCs is around 5GBs and that would extend the size of the game to 3xDVD5's but it does not matter...

I am prone to deinstalling the game every time I need extra space and reinstalling it back when I am finished. I am tired of re-installing all addons all over again.

Well that's the thing. From what I can see, Mass Effect Trilogy is gonna have less content than Original Versions. If you check the info on their website, you will see that several DLCs are excluded from the final package.

I already backed up the first and third installmentss with their DLCs on 2xDVD5s, and 3xDVD5s (respectfully) and this one (second game) still sits on it's DVD9's + 5GB of DLCs sitting on my hard drive for over a year now.

If I decide to get the Trilogy, I will be getting less content (in which I can use DLCs already in possession) but on the other side, I would be forced to burn the backups on 4-6 new DVDs (depending on size of the game and compression used) leaving my already burned games to lay to waste.
Trilogy is (in 90% of the cases) basically meant for people that never played the game and this way they are offering "All in One" package for somewhat less price than you would pay if you were buying all 3 separately.

Not to mention that, even if I get to the point where I want to play one of those games, I will be forced to install all 3 of them and not only one.
So, sorry to say it like that but, no thanks. I don't like wasting perfectly good disks.

I could try to "reverse engineer" ME3 conversion to work with ME2+DLCs but it would probably take some time because the lack of time and because I wouldn't know how to set up registry entries if there are any because I am not that skilled with registry crap.

I am not asking for anything fancy. Just a classic installation with maybe few pictures changing in background. That's all.

Trilogy is a waster of money. It's good for PS3 users because it'll be ME1 included, so PS3 fellas can play it. Otherwise, if you have other games already buying it is useless. That's why we exist.

Like i said, regkeys and all other stuff is done and i'm making small fixes, i can even release conversions before 6th november.

Cheers

I'm actually waiting yener's update about 'Browse DVD', 'Manual' buttons for autorun screen, with it i can add OST and other stuff on autorun, so it'll look like 'more' original.

Did you write about Trilogy conversion here or about 3 separate installers for all 3 games separately?

Trilogy will come as 3 separate installers;

ME1 - With Bring Down the Sky and Pinacle Station

ME2 - With important DLCs, excluding weapons and such

ME3 - Without anything

So, i made 4 conversions;

1 for ME1, 1 for ME2, 1 for ME3 again, and 1 for all 3, this will be DVD9 sized conversion because we're talking about 40GB sized game collection.

The collection one will be selectible installation, means you will select which games you want to install during installation.

Logically, all conversions will be compatible with Trilogy edition since it's actually the same games with more stuff inside.

Will I be able to include those "excluded DLCs (weapons and such)" into the conversion I am aiming to get? (ME2 + Update + ALL 23 DLCs)

Sorry for repeating the questions. Just trying to get the clear image.

You'll install the DLCs you want then apply the conversion, so yes
