DVD Copy Protection

Hi there Everyone,

This is my first post here.

I hope someone can help me out.

I'm looking for a program in which I can burn a DVD so other people cant copy it.

I make music video DVDs for bands and sporting DVDs.

Even just a idea of where I can look would be great.

Free would be good, but if not I'm willing to buya program to do this.

Thanks heaps everyone.

Thing is your probably not gonna find what you need. Unless you pay loads of cash. Even now the movie industry doesnt have anything that cannot be backed up. Encryption is easily bypassed so there is pretty much nothing out there you can do.

All I can suggest to you is sell your movies cheap. If its cheaper for your customers to just buy rather than make copies on their own theyll continue to buy from you.

Idea

Maybe an idea is to make sure I put enough on the disk that it fits on to a Dual layer media.

That way they can only burn it with a dual layer burner.

All it what reall is someway I can add microvision to the dvd.

Just make it hard for copy to copy using a standalone DVD burner or video tape player.

Thanks for your reply though.

Duel Layered DVDs can still be shrunk (compressed) to fit onto a single layer DVD! The quality may not be as good tho!

Not only that but I think more people have PC based dvd burners than Standalone ones. Like I stated before I think your best bet is to make your dvd's easier to just buy from you by buying dvdrs in bulk and passing the savings.
