Possible to run .bin or .cue from virtual drives?

I've tried a few virtual drive programs but they seem to only support .isos. To be honest I'm not sure how the programs work so I might've just missed something. But is it possible to have a .cue or .bin file run off a virtual drive?

Why not aquire 'vcdgear 3.55' so you can get the files from the .bin/.cue without having to burn them to cd/dvd. Then if its a film/game your can install it straight onto your hdd, with no cd's...

But Virtual Drives are still good. But if you crash it, i mean proper crash, it messes up drive letters. And still shows theirs a game (CD) in the cd-rom drive etc....
