The HP 9300 (unless anyone can contradict from experience) will make 1:1 copies of the original in RAW/DAO.

Whether there is a need for patching depends on your PS2 origin, the modchip and whether the game is an import.

i use it all time
no need to register it
never patched game yet
compatible with most burners
clone cd is super 2

buy yamaha 2100 or 2200 they work everythig
