I use clone CD, for all the games I've had. I've had to patch two: Resident Evil and Bio Hazard Gun Survivor.
Other then that I've used patches on some games because they add what's called trainers, a menu loads at the beginning of a game and you can select infinite health, etc. same thing as a gameshark without the shark.
