CDIRip will turn your CDI image to 3 files, your *.WAV is your boot track (you wont need for emulation), CUE (dont need), ISO (need this), and "Bootfile" (which you rename to IP.BIN).

Sounds Like Wack Downsampling

Your missing tracks, iw what it sounds like. Might have been for downsmapling reasons. Usually, I keep the same number of tracks, just cut them shorter and have them fade out at end.

The major CD Image Extensions are CDI, ISO, BIN/CUE, CCD, NRG, RAW, and WAV. Unless someone renamed the extension on the image, that is not an image.
