GOT IT WORKING ALL MAGIC V (5) 50k
ok, for anyone else that has put this MAGIC 5 50K chip in their ps2, here is the boot procedure for non ps2 discs, ie dvd movies, and dvd r movies and ps1 games

I know that is the method that is posted almost everywhere for the magic chips, but,, it dont seem to work for mine. it just goes the the screen where it shows a disc and it wants me to press X and...

I Need Help Asap
I recently had a magic 5 mod chip installed in my 50010 Ps2. So far everything is great, it boots right off of memorex DVD +R discs, for the backed up games, however, i am unable to play regular DVD...
