ps one mod?
I've tried those diagrams,wont get past cd screen,is there something i'm missing on this model,done ps2,psx no problems like this one.
any more ideas?

ps one mod prob
got new modchip ,install 8 wire as instructed ,playstation logo comes on but thats it,tried 6 and 4 wire again - no good.
does anyone know the correct install diagram schp 102 /41 on pcb?

ps one modchip?
bought modchips from maxking,for ps one, when fitted 3 wire +link as on diagram, all I get on boot up is cd player or memmory card selection, have tried several chips ,and tried 6/7 wire connections...

Ps2 v4 laser????
Does anyone know what the position of white gear in relation to laser position, this has been fiddled with.

ps2 v4 lsu prob?
When reset ps2 I get ratchet noise from laser drive,the motor does not sw off,also disc does not spin.
Any ideas?
