My ps2 can read dvd-rw.i search the forum and found someone writes that dvd-rw have poor reflectivity and the laser can wear out more easily.
is it true?
(im using verbatim dvd-rw)

backing up games to hd
i got some games from my friend.i dont have a dvd burner.
(i will buy one in a couple of mounts)i want to make backups.
i heard that some image types have problems with specific burners.i havent...

the games image is cdi.
i burned with dj 3.5 didnt worked.
the i use cdifix but i gives an error bad format could not find header.
one more thing when i use dj3.5 it gives an error 'user defined...

i make an bootable image using cdrwin+bin2boot
image size is 801.135kb
but icant write it with discjuggler on a 800mb cd.
it says cd doesnot have enough capacity.

dvd-scratch
i have a 30004-r with messiah2pro.when i use dvd backup games ps2 damages dvd's(lots of scratches).some of my friends told me maybe lens cant focus and touches dvd.do i need to change the lens?

i have a 3004-r ps2 with messiah2pro.there is a sound like an electric ark(jýzzt,jýzzt,jýzzt).firts i theink its coming from the movement of the lens.but its coming from the left side of ps2.

i have the echelon release of skies of arcadia sometimes sound after the action, before and after the battles lots of small icons appear at the bottom of the screen.is there a solution?
