convert to pvr

What can I use to convert an image (bmp, jpg, gif, ect...) to pvr format?

RRMC 30-03-2004 22:43

Isn't there a photoshop plug-in for pvr format files?

Hacker999 31-03-2004 07:52

Only with photoshop? Damn, all I need to convert is 2 images and I don't have photoshop. I doubt I need to use it again after that.

Anyone here have photoshop?

cause there are some pvr2bmp tools, the format
of pvrīs should be well known. maybe you try to
contact an author of such a tool for help or making
a bmp or whatever2pvr.

maybe thereīs some information in the dc sdk.

Pvr Viewer - View PVR files (Dreamcast graphics), extract images from PVM archives, export them to BMP/PNG/JPEG files.

what he wants to do is convert the image back to a pvr file.

i think there is a tool called GIMP PVR somethiing that can do this.....not too sure though.

Hacker999 05-04-2004 08:22

Hmm... can't find anything on GIMP PVR. I'm surprised there aren't any easily available pvr converters considering everything else we have for the DC. I guess not to many people are interested in editing images. I'll keep looking.
