Cheapest Place

Where is the cheapest place to get mod chips for the ps2.

bighap 14-12-2003 15:12

Depends on what mod you are looking for. www.modchips.cc is very good.

cripp6 14-12-2003 15:16

..

I asm looking for the magic v.

bighap 14-12-2003 15:27

What version ps2 do you have?

cripp6 14-12-2003 15:42

.

v5-v8 I believe.

bighap 14-12-2003 15:49

Then get a Duo from the site I mentioned above. Cheaper, fewer wires to solder(17) and more reliable than a Magic V.

I have heard lost of good things about the magic v. What is the problem? I just want one that works and do't have to have the game shark. Thanks.

bighap 14-12-2003 15:57

Duo has zero problems and is direct boot like the Magic V. Some people have reported problems with cd games. jmj2500 is getting red screens here . Trust me, get a Duo.;)

I know a guy that will solder any chip that you supply for $40. Or he will supply the chip and solder and send back to you. He did my V7 with a DMS3 chip and shipped it back to be in 2 days for $100. Very good indeed!

www.chipinstalls.com

Tell him ic99fly sent ya.
