tomb raider backup
 

well, i tried to backup tomb raider for ps2 but for me is imposible.
I used alcohol 120, instant cd/dvd and recordmax dx but the problem is the same.
I have a v4 ps2, no solder chip and ar2 v2. What is the problem?, becouse i backup other games without problems.

There could be copywrite protection.

this game is known to have problems when booting using swap methods. people have been able to fix this by patching it with the pal/ntsc selector from ECHELON

The problem is your "no solder chip", which is not a chip but in fact a little plastic device filled with the fecal matter of greedy nerds who like taking advantage of gullible consumers.

The fact that it's taken you this long to find a game that doesn't work is frankly amazing.

YOUR NO SOLDER CHIP IS A PIECE OF CRAP.

You will continue to find games that don't work with it. The number will increase exponentially until you either get a real chip, stop copying games, or the PS3 comes out... at which point you'll probably, if you don't listen to my advice here, go buy the Swap Magic 3 with the NeoKey2005.
