Thanx!

Thanx! That's quite easy! Can you recommend a mod-chip?

Greetz!

"x-ecutor 2 lite" is the best chip out at the moment (in my opinion).

Chris174 19-12-2002 13:05

How much are we looking at the price of these chips? And is it easy to install? And does anyone know anyone in the North West who chip X Boxs?

Quall999 19-12-2002 13:13

The x-ecutor 2 lite is probably the easiest chip to solder out of them all. If you wait after New Years, the pogo pin extension to the chip will be released (costing extra). It is recommended to people who have no experience in soldering. It is an addon that makes the chip a "no-solder" chip, but is still internal.

Also, there is a chip out now called "xodus. It is somewhat old but is also a no-solder chip. It costs about $60 and doesn't have any bios on it. So unless you know how to flash bios onto chips, i suggest you don't get this one.

Does the x-ecutor 2 have bios?

Quall999 19-12-2002 17:28

only "x-ecutor 2 lite" does, not "x-ecutor 2 pro".

Boot Chip

But that is no problem, I think. If you own a moded XBOX, you just have to flash a bios onto your chip via evo X. Is that right?

Quall999 19-12-2002 19:46

yah, but i don't thin kthey have a chipped xbox. So if they have no experiance flashing chips with their pc, then they should get a pre-flashed chip.

Matrix Chip

Do you know, if the Matrix Chip is compatible to the new XBOX Version?

rms2001 22-12-2002 20:20

The Matrix is compatible with all XBoxes.

Quall999 23-12-2002 10:28

the thing you need to look for is compatible bios:D

Merry Xmas

I wish you all some great X-MAS DAYS!!

You don't need to hook your x-box to your PC to play burned x-box games right? As long as its burned to a dvd-r? And you don't need a hard drive as long as the game is burned to a dvd-r, right?
