Titan Quest Immortal Throne - Fake/Demo trainer
 

Ok, i downloaded the Titan Quest: Immortal Throne v1.1 +13 TRAINER from APACHE and it is a DEMO of a +13 patch that you have to register a GOLD account (and pay) on they site to get the full download.

Guys at gamecopyworld are doing a great job providing those file to backup our game but they should tell when it is a real or a "fake" +13 trainer.

I had not even noticed it to be a "demo" until yesterday, else it would have been listed as a +3 trainer instead of the +13 trainer, when it was posted

I can understand their logic that they want something for their work, as it takes a whole lot of time to create such a (mega) trainer and they do not get anything in return! Not many people are able to make these kinds of trainers. APACHE has his own trainer site for which he wants more visitors, this is a way to accomplish this.

So I do not think it to be a "fake" trainer, such things are usually said by people who never "paid" for anything in their life...
However, if it did not have any "free" options it would not have been posted @ GCW!

Hmmm apache doing this, more likely to sign up to his forums than a pay site to be honest.

And I know Apache. Very unusual ill have a look at it, then talk to patchy if I can.

This is a working trainer, obviously the poster missed the big RUN GAME and ? for the info on how to use.

The add at the bottom is not for the trainer but to help out Apache and is not needed to be clicked.

Just wanted inform you all, that the TQ IT v1.1-Trainer from APACHE is a fake.
It's a "demo trainer" with only 3 of 13 functions enabled. U can download the

make a donation :mad:

When entering the site, u are forced to subscribe, to the board, to download the file, but
when done, they still don't give u access to the files as long as u are no
GOLD MEMBER (!) :p

And guess what.. ... JUP! - U can only become "gold member" by paying (via PayPal :D )

My guess: the only thing that could happen, is that ur mail address is forwarded to some damn
AddWare-Pool to get u on any SPAM list on the net!! Be carefull!
(a valid mail address is needed 'cause of an "activaion reply" for the subscription!)

These methods are poison for us... THE SCENE!!! So please:

DON'T SUPPORT THESE METHODS BY ACCEPTING THEM BY PAYING FOR A GAME TRAINER!!!

Keep the scene free from ALL charges !!!!! ;)

a fake (in my understanding) is something that isn't something that's used to be:
e.g.: when i go and buy a car, and discover afterwards that the engine is missing, then i bought a fake, or what??)

Well, i meant "fake" by that that isn't a real "+13" but a "+3" instead but i understand that guys at Gamecopyworld can't check everything posted right away because there is so many file posted there. But still, it is the best site of that kind around the net.

I do agree with robbe302 thought that forcing people to subscribe and then telling them that they have to pay sound a bit dishonest and frustrating. If i knew that i had to subscribe for nothing and risking to get spam IF there is any, i would'n fill anything in the first place. I think if someone dosen't want to pay for it, he wont. So encouraging people instead of forcing them into making a donation (on the trainer) it is the best way, otherwise, it is not called a "volountary donation". I am sure many would be happy to make a donation like myself if the sites support on-line check from canada because not everybody can have a credit card.

Myself, i am learning to make trainers (in c++). In fact i just did my first one with "theme Hospital". Now i try to figure out Dynamic Memory Allocation and protected address as my softIce doe's not work anymore on my windows XP so i am looking for something equivalent. Then i will gladly post my trainer here to give back to the communauty. For now, i can do some for unprotected fixed adresses).

Well I dont know what trainer you got, I got the one from GCW and it does NOT come up as a demo trainer, it does show the add but the options for me work.

I know Apache very very well, and if ultimately he chooses to do a gold membership then so be it, it is HIS work. Us Trainer makers are NOT here for your ever whim and needs.

Again I took the very top +13 trainer on the list, and it works fine for me.


But ill find out more from him when I get round to it.

We cant help you with fixing your softice, but Numega have a working x32 and x64 version of Sice that you can freely update.

Have a read in the coders section of the board, to show you a few tuts on DMA and how to defeat it.

Some games will require Code Shifting which is a bit more advanced.

well theres only 1 trainer made for immortal throne and its listed as a +3 and it is a demo trainer I dont care if you know the guy well its a demo for a trainer and I dont care if it took him a year to make it I wouldnt pay for it, if you think you should be paid for making a trainer you need to wake up and get a real job or something no one will pay for that, they will steal it like they steal everything else

It is up to the trainer maker if he wants to sell or not, not up to people like you.

If I do trainers again, and go the way of Sheep or Apache and others and make money from my work then so be it.

And you need to read up more, Apache is a very very accomplished trainer maker and has been for a very long time.

Also you failed to READ what was said, I didnt say every trainer maker should be paid, if they choose to want to then good for them its their work and they can choose for it to be free or not. You really need to learn to read.

I see I clicked on the wrong link and got the normal TQ trainer, and indeed his Immortal Throne one is limited.

But I still stand by what I said, if he chooses to make people pay to use it good. Its up to him. Domain names,webspace and life isnt free.

any way the demo trainer he made does work fine and not being able to get it from his site means nothing to me but dont take things so heavily or you'll die young :P

Did i not give you my last titan quest + all the updated trainers for free? was it not an excellent trainer? did i not **FIX** it when it had a few code shift problems all for free and ASKED for nothing in return
did you all like the RAINBOW SIX VEGAS trainer? How about Mage Knight Apocalypse? it was me who made ALL of them i still havent seen anothers like it on the internet
there are so many trainers i have created myself or indeed been involved in over the years and asked for nothing in return

I run my site almost single handedly (god bless VegitoSSJ,what a great guy he is ) , i make all the gfx (hehe i guess you could tell that :p), for all the site ,forum post headers,banners review images games news images, the screenshots EVERYTHING!, i spend HOURS upon HOURS scouring the internet for any bit of juicy gaming news..links to demo's coding titbits i think that would interest my ALL my members, regardless of their status
If iam guilty of anything ,iam GUILTY of wanting a BETTER SITE for my members, iam GUILTY of wanting to raise revenue to PAY for a site rebuild from the ground up for MY MEMBERS for the people who support me , i will return the favour muiltifold for the people who will SUPPORT me i shall bend over backwards to succour and defend them, i shall work my bollox off to build them a place on the internet where they KNOW they have at least 1 friend, that friend is me ...I want them all to be PROUD members of GAMEHACKING.CO.UK

Well, the only thing that pissed me off about all this is that they (many websites) "tricked" us into subscribing and all risking to receive a s@@@load of spams from sites that you subscribes for all kind of stuff. but in the other hand, bandwidth cost money. They should right away say that there is a small fee for it, and i have no problems with that. If someone dosen't want to pay, they can use other tools available on the internet or do they own trainers if they are willing to learn. :eek:

Another thing though that they can do (besides installing spywares) is they can advertise in they trainer like a small banners or something. If (honest and paying) gamers are using the trainers, that could be a good source of revenue too. Ok, peoples are bitching about pop-up and all.. but what's left to talented coder and all to make some money then? charging to users...:confused:

so either way, there will be allways someone to whine about something.:(

appach: i tell you what; i used a couple of you trainers already and i think i can use helps from the bests.. if you can tell me how i can make a small donation to you without using a f@@@ing credits card, i will oblige gladly. That's what refrain me doing transaction on the net :)

Done! i agree, and it is ok that you point it out to me but i think that threating people should be a last resort.

Still, i am not using paypal to do transaction and can't have a credit card myself. So if you want a donation from me or other people that dont have a credit card but would like to apply for a gold membership, like myself, it would be nice to have some alternative.

I am a new member here on File Forums so first off, "Hi" to everyone.

Like everyone here, I went looking for a trainer for TQ:IT & found one at Gamecopyworld.com, the same one everyone else is using. So I un-RAR it and double-clicked on the icon. In big bold letters it states that the trainer is the demo version and has 3 of the 13 options unlocked. It also states in plain english and in bold letters, that to get the full version, go to the website. It does NOT say that once you go to the website that you will get the trainer for free. So why is everyone upset?

One of the options that are available on the trainer is unlimited Gold. This in itself, let alone the other options that are unlocked, provided the player with "God Mode". What more do you want? For someone to come to your house and actually play the game for you? I mean come on, get real. How so? Let me explain.

1) Unlimited gold = unlimited Healing potions = no need to pick up items & go back to town 100's of times.
1a) Unlimited healing potions = God Mode.
2) Unlimited gold = unlimited mana potions.
2a) Unlimited mana potions = unlimited casting of "Regrowth & Accelerated Growth"
3) Unlimited gold = unlimited equipment upgrades, weapons, armor, rings, amultes & spell scrolls.
3a) Unlimited equipment upgrades = EXTREMELY better chance of staying alive.

Do you see the pattern? This is just for one of the three options that the trainer that all of you are complaining about offers. Shall we talk about the other 2 now?

4) Unlimited mana = unlimited spells. Do I really have to explain how this is beneficial?
5) Super Speed. This option alone makes the game past by at almost x10 as fast as if you were playing without the trainer. Turn off super speed and walk around in "Slo-mo" mode for a little while. You'll appreciate this option AND the trainer. with any luck, you'll begin to appreciate all the work that goes into making the trainer, then again, if you have never actually tried to make a trainer yourself & so always benefited from OTHER peoples hard work.. If you still don't appreciate the work and the options that ARE available... well one day you will & that that time you'll look back and see how foolish you acted.

If you are that upset, you could always simply make your own trainer, host a website that offers a huge amount of info for free, offer the trainer that you spent a lot of time and work on for free, only to have people download it without so much as a "Thank you" all the while 95% of the cost of running the site comes out of your own pocket. Do all that and if you are still upset, then you have earned the right to be. At that time I will listen to your immature & rude comments, because you will have done the proverbial "Been there & done that" That is the only way that you will regain my respect & my ear.

I am extremely grateful for the demo version of the trainer. I look forward to getting the full version. No matter what it takes because I appreciate the work and effort that went INTO it's creation.

paypal is the devil and you should be careful that you dont get a ton of fake donations cuz in the end you loose

but oh well I dont have a credit card and probably never will since my student loan is huge and screwed up my credit ( who knew going to college was a bad idea :P ) any way it is a good idea and I am registered on your site and will use the fourms but I wont be donating with paypal or anything like that when I have to pay 700$ a month on my loan and only make 1000 a month lol but good luck with that

I heard horror story about paypal too... a P.O. BOX where we can send a small check or direct bank transfer would be a good idea. We just need a bank number acount and the transit. Of cource, the constumers should keep the confirmation number and write a e-mail to the person right away.

Anyway, if i had a credit card, i would't give my number on internet anyway, to risky right now.

MRGreviews: Well, the trainer is good for what i know and apache delivered great stuff in the past. The only thing i was doing is to point out a small error on the site that we should see +3 instead of +13 and the person who posted-it saying that it is a +13 did not say the truth about it. Ok, the word "fake" wasn't a good choice but i think many people understood what i meant. I just wanted to be usefull in the same manners that if you get a no-cd fix for a game that you own it dosen't work properly it is up to the users to tell gcw about it so it will prevent other people to get frustrated about it and keep the site one of the best on the net. and calling a sale, a donation may obfuscate many future "donator". Beside that, i agree with you, it is a usefull tools as it is and they have the right to ask for a small donation. If i see a collection of trainers like that at, let say wall-mart for all the recent game of that quality, i think i would buy it for 20$.

Apache, I don't thing you can win this one... Only people who understand your position will agree with you (as do I). Most won't and a small number, who think that you (your site & your trainers) exist to serve them will never agree...

It is funny how some people react when they can't get what they want. So once in a while I get these emails from people who think that they are GOD... hilarious emails!

Maybe you should "rethink" the idea calling it a "DEMO", just tell that it is a +3 trainer and more options are available when joining GameHacking or paying something to support your site and/or adding more options, whatever. Then it is clear to everyone what they should do to get these options. It will never be fullproof as these private trainers will be leaked, but in the end you will have a loyal userbase which will support you and your site

And @ everyone else, it ain't a scam, it is called capitalism. without it none of the big sites could exist! try it yourself then maybe you understand! We will have to understand that nothing comes for free!

By the way, it is possible to code and give away quality software for free, just for the fun and fame you get by doing it... Until your (youthful) energy and/or spare time (being without a job) runs out, that is; then your energy is eaten up by your daily job and none remains for such hobbies... :(

I too can understand why Apache chooses to make 'a little' money from 'his' work.
I agree with Empire and Apache with what they both say about bringing in some revenue to pay the site fees.
We all know its not cheap to run a quality site. Sites dont charge fees to make a living from the site! They charge fees to cover the costs of actually paying for the site.

At cd-2-dvd.com we have been debating the idea of wether or not to implement a 'Premium Account' for those willing to pay a small fee to subscribe. I wont go in to detail here of what the subscription would entitle you but it was an idea we had to help pay some of the site fees.

But for the moment we have decided against charging people as I believe the CD2DVD installers will only be leaked to other sites anyway!
We have a good user base at cd-2-dvd but I also believe only a very few would actually be willing to pay!
Most people these days just do not want to pay for anything! They expect that if they pay for an Internet connection then everything from the net should be free!

Unfortunately it becomes rather hard to keep everyone happy these days.

Apache obviously enjoys making game trainers otherwise he wouldnt be doing it.
Lets say 'hyperthetically', Apache turns his Trainer making into a small business and starts making enough money from it to support himself where he no longer has to work at another job.
Wouldnt this then become his ideal job? Being paid for something he enjoys doing! Working from home, working his own hours.
Then his hobby would become his 'job'!
Some new business ideas start out as hobbies etc to earn some spare dollars. It is how some people move out of a job they despise but are forced to do to pay for something that someone else expects for free!

Actually Apache is a great guy, he takes his OWN time to do these trainers, for years he did them sending them out for people to enjoy them, I guarentee you that out of say 100,000 people who used them, he probably got less than 1% of people coming back to say a simple "Thanks".


Now he has a website, these things take money to run, so he should what do his own job and pay out of his own money for the next whatever years and make everything free just for blowhards like you? Hello McFly!

I agree with the donation stuff and would pay if could...but I also don't have a way to pay since no cc or even a checking account. I do some graphics and stuff and could help that way if there was a way to do that...or help with trainers in anyway I could. But for those that have no CC's or checking account..it limits us. I am not a child before anyone even suggest that...I am 34 years old...but I messed my back up and am waiting on SSI case to finish. I do have alot of free time at home. So if apache has any ideas how someone like me could contribute would love to hear it...even if didn't get the trainers. I just wouldn't mind helping in return for the ones he already did.

Personnaly, there's nothing bad about making money for trainers that a person did himself; it help paying bills and all having a side line. The only thing that i might not agree with though is charging others for works done by someone else. i would be pissed off that someone make money out of my work for an example.
