Well it certainly is different from all the other cracks when hex editing it!

There's also lots of weird crap in the EXE, what looks like a 'mini image', references to DVD drive strings and Daemon Tools. Maybe it's a 1.01 emulator with built in mini image :eek: or just part of the crackers memory dumped with the EXE when rebuilding?

I don't know, but it seams to works good.

I hope that the new exe has rightr about the same in game-code as the original because I really don't want to have some in-game problems for using a bad crack with some modified game-code!

P.S.: Now on GCW there is the fixed image to mount. Is it better then the 1.01 fised FEAR.exe???

I've now finished the game (waaayyyyy too short in my opinion, I expected a much longer game) using the emporio 1.01 crack and didn't have any problem with it, but that was in Single Player as I don't do Multi Player!

Yes I agree! It was the one and only major dissapointment with the game!

That's the problem today Grumpy, these games are just too short.

I mean it comes on a DVD for crying out loud! Unreal came on 1 CD and took me months to finish not days, and System Shock came on floppys and took me longer than Unreal to finish! Heck, even Wolfenstein, Doom and Blake Stone took longer to finish than FEAR :eek:

Which is one of the hundred reasons why many oldies are goldies. I'm planning to spend some time with playing Wolfenstein-3D and DOOM level addons during the christmas holiday! :D

i found it!thanks!Do you thing that the game is tooooo heavy in graphics ??i have GeForce XT5600 256MB and if some settings are in medium i cant play it!it makes a move every 1000years!!!maybe theres a bug or something...cause i play doom 3 and HL2 in high graphics with no antialising of course!

how long does it take to get through ? I'm now at the level Sayonara, Wichser, dunno English level name. its about 1 hour after you evacuated this guy Bishop with the bomb at his corp...and where you meet the fat programmer the second time...

BTW: Grupy, thank you for telling me to buy the game its ****ing great, and the performance is better than i expected, at 1024 with all at maxi except shadows and reflections...

BTW 2: the german uncut patch is just great. you have to install the 1.01 patch and just patch one file. still a german menu and heads falling off, exploding bodies after heavy "contact" with my shotgun :P, ...

I got may copy last Wendesday (19th) here in the UK and finished it yesterday (24th), so it took 6 days. I think you're on Interval 05 so about halfway through!

Hope they bring out an addon or free extra levels!
