I posted 2 methods before, ANY of 'em WORKS!
Also try to SET the WIN2000 Compatible for STUBBS.EXE before start playing.
(if you hate using your ORIGINAL Media :D )

"Mount CD#1 in DT4 and use SR7.STOP v1.2 with HIDE function."

I did this and it worked perfectly. I did not try any other idea since this one sounded like the least problamatic. I am on a laptop so removing cables and crap is totally retarded.

All I did was install the latest version of Daemon Tools which is 4.00HE. Mounted CD1 and began installation and followed thru with all the cds. Then I mounted CD1 in DT and then ran SR7.Stop and clicked on Hide. Double clicked on the Stubbs icon on the desktop and it ran flawlessly.

I did just what you said, but now it says. "Original disc could not be found or authenticated." Any idea?

That worked like a charm.
But was wondering if anyone elsae was having a problem w/ the graphics.
For the most part I just get a white screen, & you can hear music playing.

rDr4g0n 23-12-2005 13:12

i have the exact same prob with teh white screen and abunch of crazy lines originating fropm the upper lefht hand corner of thescreen. i can hear music also. ive updated vid drivers and even rolled back to older drivers and nothin works. anyone have a similar problem and a solution?

im using a gf4 ti 4600, athlon 3200, chaintech nforce2 mobo, and 512mb corsair xms ram. i know its old.. im saving up for my new one

Sprit0r 23-12-2005 15:34

I have got the same problem like wormbaby... also done the same way moldavia did it...

"Please insert the original disc in drive <drive letter>:
SecuROM 7.x has found a completely unrelated CD/DVD in one of your real IDE CD/DVD-ROM drives. Remove the CD/DVD so that the copy protection will check the emulated CD/DVD drives instead."

I dont have no CD/DVD in one of my real devices, only three images on hdd... but i only get the Fu** message >_<
Wanna play a nice game in my holidays. Please help :D

Don't worry everyone.

Reloaded just added this to there SR7 cracks. Expect the no-cd to show up on GCW any day now...

XdaywalkerX 27-12-2005 22:44

RELOADED have cracked the game... i think the crack will be available on gcw soon - so wait a few days :D

Yes, I hear some sound (prehaps the intro?) then it turns white for a second and then becomes black indeed. (I have to end task the game in order to get back to windows)

rDr4g0n 29-12-2005 15:58

i thought maybe the white screen thing is cuz of securom, but with the crack i have the same prob. i can hear the intro vids, but all i see is a white screen. i hit escape to skip em and i still ahve the white screen, but there are about 4 blue lines originating from the upper left corner going down to the bottom right corner. also in the upper left are a bunch of multicolored lines that move around (feeble attempt at rendering polys?). i can hear the music playing. i have to alt tab to get out and then use task manager to end process.

im using dx9.0c and a geforce 4 ti4600 (i know its old..) with latest nvidia drivers. i even tried downgrading drivers to no avail.

any ideas?

Stubbs the Zombie Rebel Without a Pulse

ATHLON 64 3000+
BFG 6600 GT OC
1GIG DD400
LG DVD-RW

JUST BOUGHT Stubbs the Zombie, AND I HATE HAVING THE DVD IN THE DRIVE, GOT HOLD OF RELOADED NOCD 1.O

NOW WHEN I PLAY THE GAME, I CAN HEAR THE INTRO, BUT THERE IS A BLACK SCREEN SAYING OUT OF RANGE, AND I HAVE TO PRESS MY RESET BUTTON, TO GET OUT OF IT

ANYBODY ELSE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM ???????

This game DOES NOTsupport nVidia Geforce4 series anymore.. yes that includes Ti4200, 4400, 4600.. you have to have at least a FX5200 or ATi 9700 and up in order to play or else you will get that white screen with whole bunch of lines at the upper left corner.. i had a ti4200 yesterday, tried to game can't play .. went out and bought an ATi x700 pro.. now the game runs

it's the same for Battlefield 2.. Geforce 4 isnt supported no more. so stupid though, Ti series are better cards than FX 5200
