A Question Regarding "Midway Arcade Treasures Volume 2"

Hi:

Just a quick question regarding "Midway Arcade Treasures Volume 2."

Can somebody please tell me why the original MK (Mortal Kombat) is not included in this compilation?? :confused: According to the list of games that I have read that were to be included in this compilation, only MK2 and MK3 were listed. Is it me or did I miss something :eek:

I think it has something to do with the fact that the original Mortal Kombat is an Easter Egg of sorts in the latest game, Mortal Kombat: Deception. The 'suits' have been clever there. You gotta admit, in hindsight, the original Mortal Kombat is an awful game. In comparison to a fighter from the same generation, Street Fighter II puts it to shame.
