Hi guy's, im totaly new to this but i have a stack of time, what im after is a program that i will be able to make a menu for dvd's that has, movie playing in the menu, i cant find one that does this, i have a dvd with this type of menu, the files for it are .bup .ifo .vob is there a program that can edit these files or create them.

Hi..M8 Not sure if this helps... But Pinnacle Stuio 9,and I think Ulead Video 8 and also TMPGEnc DVD Author does allow motion menus..??(on Video DVD`s)..

I have Roxio6 but am not sure if this is possible. I will attempt it for you and post back later. Let me make sure I understand exactly what you are attempting. Do you want to replace the current menu with your own version?
Like a clip of an existing movie or a self recorded clip? If this is right, I can try it with this program and let you know if it works.

TMPEG DVD Author allows you to use MPEG or GIF format files for a video menu.

Well I tried Roxio6 for you and was only able use custom bmp files. I have the pinnacle studio v8.0 but am reluctant to program it back into my system again due to software conflicts so I will leave you in the hands of the other members.
Some of them are very knowlegable in this area and I am certain one of them will get you on the right path. Sorry I could not be more help. :(

Hi guy's thanks for your replys, i found the perfect program "well for me anyway" its MediaChance DVD-LAB its very easy to use and easy to setup
the menu for my dvd's.
