ps2 went black screen

I just mod my ps2 with messiah2, i turn on the power from the back, the power botton goes red on stand by, then i press it, the green light goes on, the fan are running but there are nothin on the screen, it just a black screen!! i press the eject button, the tray will not eject ... whats did i do wrong?? I then check the chip and connection again, but it since nothin wrong, no bridging.. pls help me:(

I would be willing to bet you that there IS some kind of bridging on the CD/DVD controller, that is the most common reason for a black screen. All I can suggest is do your best to desolder all the pins on that chip and try to boot it again. Then have your mod fitted professionally, I came to this conclusion the hard way. Just don't have the work done by Bill @ freedomlives.com, he does neat work, but is a complete jerkoff and won't take responsibility if something is done improperly, regardless of what his website says... You've been warned... ;)
