I just bought my shiny, new copy of Splinter Cell for the PC from EB! :D I don't have time to play right now, but after work, I'm gonna play all night!!

Anyways, sorry for the bragging.

Well, does anyone know the CD protection scheme used for this game?? My copy of ClonyXXl doesn't work.

Just thought I'd pass this on.

You should notice that only the 3rd CD is protected with Safedisc 2.80. The first 2 are straight copyable (and that should shorten your backup time by 200%).

:D

Have fun.

You can take your Original-CDs to play the game until a Crack is released !!!

Orlando,

Trying using the newest version of Alcohol 120% which is v1.40.114. I've used that with my Lite-On 48x24x48x CD-RW to burn perfect 1:1 copies of Mafia, Unreal 2, and Splinter Cell among other recent games. They all work beautifully..OMG, I'm so happy!! :D :D

BTW, I used Memorex CD-R's as the medium.
