Hi there,
ich have the problem that when i burn a data CD-R with Nero all i get is a hardly readable Cd with an audiotrack on it.

I tried allready several suggested sollutions,
- uninstalled Via Busmaster driver
- disabled DMA for all drives of the second IDE Port
- installed new aspi Layer
- tried to burn really slow
- renamed SCSI1HLP.VXD

one lost CD-R for all those tries :-(

I would greatly appreciate any further suggestions. Please help me!

My system:
Win 98 SE
Nero 5.5.9.2
Liteon LTR 48125S

pri IDE MA HDD SL CD-ROM
sec IDE MA CD-RW SL LS-120

You have probably tried this but here goes.

Try other programs such as Clone or CDRWin. If these fail then you can probably assume that it is a hardware error and not software.

Hope this helps - Tone

Thanks for the suggestions, but so far it didnt help.

I have updated to current Nero but still the same.

I noticed that burning on RW with InCD/Nero works but that even copies from dataCD to CD-R do not work so its not a problem only with Multisession but with burning to CD-R in general.

Next i will try other burning software as you suggested well see what will happen.
