Originally had a problem that Nero would only want to write to image, not disk. Tried the ugrade. (About the same time had gotten a worm which I removed).
Unistalled Nero to fix the "write to image" problem, then tried to reinstall. Won't install, it says I have a virus.
Have run 3 different Virus programs, all say no viruses.
Anyone come across this?
Found a link here one time to a Nero forum (English I think), which I can't find using Search.
Would Nero support be any use?

BTW I like using Nero to burn data, in case the comment "Ditch that crap" comes to mind. (It's about the only thing I think it's really good at).
PS BTW Have gotten all my burning knowledge from this site, good one guys.

What is the exact message you get and when does it ocurr? Have you scanned your entire hard drive for viruses?

Yes bighap
All drives
Norton AV 2002 OEM (out of date-May, I'm not paying for a subscription on something I [apparently] paid good money for)
Norton online check
Vprot

Computer is not here, it's my daughter's. Message is simple, something like "Can't install Nero.exe, you may have a virus, run a virus program".

Was this a purchased copy of Nero on cd or a download off the internet?

Original was on CD supplied with the burner.
Upgrade was a download.

Do you think it is treating it as a reload of a trial program (that's run out) and won't allow a reinstall.....(this is what I suspect)??

Appreciate your time.

Are you trying to reinstall the downloaded upgrade or the original version you had from the cd?
