Something isnt very clear to me. I read DaemonTool faq for protection on PSX games and CloneCD can make same copy of PSX game. This can be done if you have CD-RW which can read and write RAW+96 metod (read/write SubChannel Data). That mean that CD-RW can rean subchannel data.
1. Is copy create with CloneCd same as original?
2. What about non-protected games?
3. Non-protected games havent subchannel data?
4. Or we stiil need MOd-Chip and why?
5. Because of subchannel data or boot protection?
6. Why to use CloneCd and make copy of game with subchannel data when we have Mod-Chip?
7. What about "Read Error" when I put Ignore?
Thx

Answers:

1. It is a exact copy of the original but the bootprotection can't be copied.
2. Non protected games works fine using CloneCD.
3. Don't know. But always read/write subchannel data.
4. Yes, we still need a modchip because the bootprotection.
5. see nr 4.
6. Use it to make a 1:1 copy. Every protection besides bootprotection will be copied. So a copy made in CloneCD works much better then a copy made in ex. CDR-Win.
7. On a PSX cd there are no readerrors therefor you always choose "abort in readerror".

Hope this solves some of your questions.
And remember, always read and write at 1 or 2x
