Alexander (Rome Total War)

Sad to say, the fixed exe for RTW Alexander by Quartex posted today on GameCopyWorld doesn't seem to work.

I have the game running (already activated on-line) but thought I'd try the fixed exe out to see if it would save future hassle. You only get 5 free activations and then your stuffed.

Fixed exe no worky for me.
Copied original exe back and game works fine.
Anyone else tried this out?

Strange thing is that this crack/release even has not nuked. But yes, this exe doesnt work, tested myself numerous times with different install methods.

I think the package does not contain all needed files because just using the exe from the unprotected version of this game would not work because data files are also encrypted.

Crack does not work. Not with any original release or any 'other' release either. Guess we'll have to wait for a real crack.

Well so far i havent seen even 1 person who says it works. It starts exe fine, but thats it, it stays at proccesses window 99% cpu load and nothing happens. And everyone getting same results. So tell me how it "should" work? And this group is also a bit strange, they havent released nothing in a long time.

Yeah Tested it. Not WorkinG. I Think Quartex exe has a problem. We must wait for a proper working exe...

I facing a problem here, when ever i come to install the 1.3 patch it gives me an error with the code 6001, so i can't install the 1.5 as it's only an update to 1.3

can any one help?

shazlym: I read the same install-problem as yours in the Act of War:High
Treason DVD. So, go to GCW and watch Act of War: High Treason - Install Fix from PBX (Powerbox). Maybe your install will goes well next...
