Enter the matrix and large game fix

Here is the best fix to fit enter the matrix on one cd and other large games! Best thing about this, you can still play with both characters

Tools

hex editor (thats it )

after backing up your original game to your HD, find the movies directory or where ever the video directory is. example on enter the marix the directory is movies

find the smallest vid file you can find (example enter the matrix is atari.vid) and write the path down on a peace of paper (example on matrix, d:/games/atari.vid

find the largest vid files and write them down on paper. Choose as many as needed to reduce the game to 4.3 GB. example matrix would be 4 .vid files (g81_n_.vid, g40_n_.vid, g45_n_.vid, g89_n_.vid). Delete this files!

open up your hex editor, click file > open and choose the default.xbe file in your hd directory where your back up is.

now click edit > find. type the name of one of the large vid files (example on matrix game,g81_n_.vid)

this will highlight the area in the bottom window. To the right window you will see the path to the g81_n_.vid file. change that path to the path of the small vid file. (example this path will look like this, d:\movies\fmv\g81_n_.vid change to, d:\movies\atari.vid)

do this for every large vid file you chose and change there path to the small .vid file path example, g81_n_.vid, g40_n_.vid, g45_n_.vid, g89_n_.vid will all point to d:\games\atari.vid)

Thats it save the file, patch with ISOCraxtion-v31 and burn your backup. its now small enough to fit on one cd.
