please read this experienced gamers

ok heres the deal i have taken the time to register and search through the forum i am not a normal ****y newbie i am more than happy to listen to what people have to say and i just wanted to say before i got flamed i have searched through the forum but i am confused. now that thats out of the way i burned a copy of the eutopia boot disk or whatever and it works fine but i am dumb founded on burning a patch i have nero and winrar but could some1 please explain how to burn just a game in normal language and not html shit. im not trying to be mean but i have searched this place for weeks and im just confused will some1 please help me i would appreciate it alot thank you gamers. if you wish to email my email is dan53714**********com and my aim sn is dan14714 thank you so much. -DAN-

Still stumped, perhaps open up the zip file the patch is in and read the .NFO file. NFO, sounds like Info? Because it is.

listen man.... thanx for the info and this is gonna sound like a stupid question but how do i apply ppf if u could answer this one question i will then spread the word and make your life alot easier i will help all the newbies i possiblle can once i learn because i understand how frustrating this is to you

Ok, extract the .PPF file and ApplyPPF.exe into the same directory as the game you want to patch. Go into an MS-DOS prompt, Start Menu->Run->command

Go to the directory where the .CDI, .PPF, and ApplyPPF.exe all reside, and type in the following applyppf nameofpatchfile.ppf nameofgamefile.cdi

Tada.

yo one more ? but the ending of the file usually isnt iso bin or cue and if it is i know i click on mage to recorder or whatever than i go and do that command to apply the ppf and if the ending isnt iso or anything like that or if its an unusual ending will it still work if i apply ppf and after i do that which file do i actually burn on dj. once again thanx for the help and let me know i am going to help you out with the questions in the forum as son as i figure it out i promise you

Yeah it should still work. ApplyPPF works with many formats if memory serves correctly.

yea but im sayin would it work on discjuggler and do u have a aim sn if so would u like to give it to me it would be alot easier

Yes .CDI format is Discjuggler and no I despise all forms of instant messaging.

whenever i hit that command in run program or whatever it always saya eroor cannot find ppf will u retype that code again and i havent found a file yet with the ending .cdi
