Question SREP and PRECOMP Archive Info

Hello,

Is it possible to know what parameter used on a srep file or a precomp file the same way we do for arc file by viewing arch info > solid blocks?

Is there such command/tool to identify the compression method?

Thank you.

Yes it is and at the same time it is not. some people set their methods on arc.ini and it won't show up in freearc.

hmm, be creative, make your own method and test it out, or read the precomp and srep readme(s).

I'm trying really but can't achieve smaller size no matter what i do (although i know that the same files has been compressed to a smaller size but the archives are password protected), that's why i'm trying to look after archives infos.

I'm trying to override the srep default settings but in the command line window i see that it's still using the default values instead of my defined values:
What is the maximum compression value in srep?
What is the maximum compression value in lzma?

It's time and space consuming, i prefer the all in one command, the lzma documentation didn't help much or i'm already using the maximum value already, same for srep.
