POP2 and SW: Battlefront in 1 dvd with autorun
hi guys, i have been following the post on multiple games on a dvd, my games are prince of persia 2 and battlefront.
i have gotten all the games into their respective folders and tried out installing them and they work. the thing i dont know how to make is the dvd's autorun. I used warhammer's autorun files as the menu is easy to edit. but both games require the playing cd to be mounted, i have given the folders their playing cd names but it still asks me for the playing cd in both games. does anyone know how to link each game's autorun to the folder that they are in?, or any other way to make this work would be good. basically what i want is both games on the dvd and with en external menu to both games where i can run the from (not just install them). is this too much to ask? or too hard to do??  thanx guys! |

Because of the protection in the games they wont run from the DVD anyway! Doesnt matter how you do the Autorun! Unless of course you replace the original exe's with a 'Fixed.exe'. But then why would you want to do this when you could just use a NoCD.exe and then play without the DVD!
Any btw you should really post these type of questions in the CD2DVD thread! Thats what its there for!

nocd.exe needs image
i have a "fixed.exe" file for both games, and it asks me to insert the play cd, when i insert the play cd (downloaded image mounted on daemon of the game) the game works from the hd, but i want to save some space by putting my games in a dvd.
i tried looking for a no cd patch that doesnt need the image, but somehow i havent found one, my game starwars:bf is in spanish, i dont mind if the crack is for version 1.1 being 1.2 the latest but it has to be in spanish or it doesnt work i posted a msg while ago in the cd2dvd thread but after waiting for quite some time, removed it since it got left behind. thanx for your answer Last edited by z3r0k00l; 11-02-2005 at 12:44. |
