You can also find nocd cracks here. As of this post, there is one for 2.0 and 2.1 although in order to make sure your characters will be playable for future patches, I reccomend just mounting the first CD with daemon tools when you play.

Ok folks.  This is really long, and we know most people don't have the 
patience to read many paragraphs of information.  So, we have divided our info 
into 3 sections:

#1) A generic version of why we made the Crack Fix (good for End Users / Nukers)
#2) What results can be gained by using our Crack Fix (End Users)
#3) Finally, a nice long story afterward for those who care (Sceners / Crackers)

* TNT gives full permission to most groups, *except* the ones listed below, to 
  use our version 2.0 crack to create a MultiPlayer Crack and/or a Private 
  Server Patch:

  These following groups are the ones absolutely NOT allowed to use our crack 
  for any releases:
  01) TECHNiC  (crack thieves, scene disrespectors)
  02) SPiTFiRE (crack thieves, scene disrespectors)
  03) RVL      (we just never liked them)
  04) BLeH     (crack thieves)
  05) XMA0D    (crack thieves)

= For the masses, why did we do this?   =
-----------------------------------------
It was widely experienced that the RELOADED crack had a problem with SavedGames.

Basically, Saved Games you made with the RLD crack can not be loaded because 
the MainMenu "Continue" button will not exist, using any of the following:
1) Original Retail CDs and EXE
2) CloneCD with Retail EXE
3) v2.1 Cracked Update
4) v2.1 Original Update with Retail CDs or CloneCD

The RLD Save Games work only with the RLD crack, and they are considered to be 
corrupt by other versions.

The TNT Fixed Crack will generate Saved Games that work under all four of the 
conditions we listed above.

Unfortunately, if you are already playing with the RLD crack, then your Saved 
Games are messed up and can not work with future patches nor with the Retail 
CDs.  This means a bad crack by RELOADED.

= What is gained by using our Crack Fix =
-----------------------------------------
Observe the following releases:

1) Dungeon.Siege.2-RELOADED
2) Dungeon.Siege.2.CD1.Clone-Carbon
3) Retail Store Bought "Dungeon Siege II" with valid CD Serial Key

* The ability to update to new Cracked versions or new Retail versions without 
  losing your Saved Games.  -not possible with the RLD crack.

* A working SinglePlayer NoCD crack for Retail and CloneCD users.  
  The RLD crack could not be used for that purpose because if you already had 
  Saves from the Retail or Clone, they would not load using the RLD crack.

* Possible Internet/GameSpy MultiPlayer in the future, without a valid CD Key.  
  This is only possible with the TNT crack as a base to be used in a 
  Multiplayer and/or Private Server Patch.
  With the RLD crack you will get an error when trying to join an Internet game:
  "game has modified content" -basically saying your game data mismatches.
  This prevents you from joining an Internet game even with a Retail CD Key.
  - Due to the bad crack by RLD.

* A working MultiPlayer NoCD crack for people with valid CD Keys, but only 
  under the following circumstances:
  a) The server HOST is using the TNT crack or similar working crack.
  b) All players that wish to join are using the TNT crack or similar working 1.
  c) All players and HOST have valid unique CD Keys.
  - If you fail to meet any of these conditions, the game will get stuck at the 
    "established host connection" screen.  (this is why we allow others to try 
    their luck at producing a multiplayer crack with our EXE)

* A version 2.0 working MultiPlayer NoCD crack with valid keys, and possibly 
  a future version 2.0 MultiPlayer crack without valid keys.
  Why does this matter?
  Well, the game works like this:  You can only join servers that are on the 
  same version as you.  And most people are still using 2.0 original version.  
  If you want access to all the servers, you will need to swap between 2.0 & 
  2.1 game version (just by swapping the Game EXE files).

* Possibly avoidance of other bad crack related issues.  If Saves are 
  corrupted, then who knows what other adverse effect you may experience due 
  to the bad crack.


Issues with the Saved Games
---------------------------
They are not backward compatible, which means you can save the game with 2.1 
and then downgrade to 2.0.  The MainMenu "Continue" button will be missing.  
This is the same issue with the Retail CDs and the original 2.1 EXE versus 
the original 2.0 EXE.  The 2.1 games will not load in 2.0.

So, in summary, you can upgrade to new versions and take your saves with you.  
But you can not downgrade to earlier version.
This is by Game Design.

Also, hi to RELOADED.  They do Securom/Safedisc & StarForce-(if they really are 
'cracking' them).  Which is more than most other groups can do.  We mean no 
insult with this release, and just wanted a hopefully working crack.

Yes TNT cracked this all by our little selves.  
We wanted to try creating a MultiPlayer crack.  So, about 1 day after the DEV 
2.1 crack, we decided to crack 2.1 ourselves, then try to make a MultiPlayer 
crack.  You can tell from the structures of our EXE that it is very different 
than the DEV crack and also different than the RLD crack.

Now, there's no guarantee that TNT has fully cracked this version to avoid what 
was listed above without play testing the game for days on end.  
However, what we do know is that our Save Games are loadable from the Retail 
uncracked versions and from the DEV 2.1 cracked update, whereas the RLD Saves 
were not.

Take it or leave.  It's up to you.

1. Always make a backup copy of your game executable(s) first, because 
   future update patches may require the original file(s):
   DungeonSiege2.exe

2. UnRAR the archive to your game directory, overwriting any existing files.
   Always unRAR with full paths!

3. If you are starting out fresh without any SinglePlayer Saves or if you have 
   saves only created by the Retail or CloneCD release, then just run the game 
   and enjoy.

   No need to read any futher, so go away.

4. However, if you already created SavedGames using the RLD crack.

   a) They are already corrupted and can not work with an updated version.
   b) If you are already deep into the game, you may as well stick with the RLD 
      crack.
   c) If you wish get good Saves (which will continue to work if you BUY the 
      game or if you update to a new cracked version), then you will need to 
      start over thus losing your current game.

5. To start over, use our crack and make a new Single Player game.  
   Be aware your old "corrupt" saves will still be there and it is a good idea 
   to back them up and then delete them:

   "My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Save\SinglePlayer\*"
   
   "My Documents" is usually in "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>"

6. Also, if you want to mess around testing our crack versus retail or try 
   to fix your corrupt games or you want more than one SavedGame, check this:

   "My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\DungeonSiege2.ini"
   In that file, you will find a setting:
   sp_last_saved_party = XXX

   XXX is the name of your party (first character you created).

   You can change "XXX" there to the name of one of your party directories in:
   "My Documents\My Games\Dungeon Siege 2\Save\SinglePlayer"

   This will allow you to load the Saved Game of that Character and his or her 
   party using the "Continue" button at the Main Menu.

I have the problem that I can not choose which savegame I want to load.
But I play the game only half an hour maybe I will find this option later.

Dang I am pretty far into Act 1 with the RLD crack

I just updated to v2.1 with a new crack and i have the corrupt save game problem. In theory can I just uninstall the game and reinstall with the RLD v2.0 crack again and the save games will reappear?

I have no problem downloading the V2.1 crack by DEViANCE.
I tried mirror #2 & mirror #1 - submirror #4.

What is the error message you get when you try to download the crack?

The crack stops saved games from being used GLH. So your 2.0 saves wont load unfortunately.
