Diner Dash Help!!!

Hello, I am new to this board and I just wanted to say Hi and that this seems like a really nice group of people. I too am playing diner dash and I am stuck on level 8 of the second restaurant which is all businesswomen. I have tried everything and I can't seem to get past a little over 3000 points. I would appreciate it if anyone who has mastered this level could give me some pointers. I have tried many different strategies and I am so frustrated but I cant stop this game its very addictive! This is one way you could get Diner Dash for FREE! This is how I did it: First you have to download "Limewire"; you could find this on www.google.com. Once you have the program, search for Diner Dash and look for anything that says "full version". (Download various ones because some might not work and/or could be just trials.) The download progresses will display at the bottom and once they are 100% complete, go to "library" at the top, find the downloads and move them onto your desktop. After that all you do is double-click and there you go, you have it! I hope I helped!

I'm at the third restaurant in Diner Dash on level 4. I've tried many times to beat it but can't seem to. How could you possibly reach the goal?

Thank you so much! After I read all of your advice, I was able to not only get past level 8 of restaurant 2 I am almost finished with my 3rd restaurant. I am stuck on a level again, but at least now I think there is hope.Definitely chaining and color bonuses are critical. If you don't keep the people in line happy you just cant win because so much is deducted. I will keep trying and thanks again for your help! Fluteteacher

Okay i am stuck on this level..restaurant 5 level 9. I have tried the grouping .. chaining filling all the tables filling only 4 a time making sure every one is happy .. not loosing a table.. and I can only get 12,320 for a score and I need 20,000 and OMG if what i read is true i am gonna need help for the last level as well lol please please please help me .. thank you

Ok let me tell you on Sunday morning I was hopelessly stuck at restaurant 2 level 8 and I was resigned that this game was unbeatable. After finding this site and taking all of your wonderful advice I just now finished the game so I feel obligated to tell you how I did it. I am not a great gamer so I think that this will work for anyone. For the last 3 restaurants this worked like a charm and I never had to repeat any levels I just breezed right through. First of all, only seat FOUR tables at a time no matter what. Keep jumping back to the podium to keep the line very happy in between every 4 tasks. When you have 4 hands then the same applies it just gets easier. Here is a really important fact do NOT seat the Seniors until the very end and do not seat the young college boys until the end as they take too long to make up their minds. let me list this
First keep seating business women and young girls. Every time they appear seat them in groups of four tables at time. If you have to mix, mix the fast ones first never seniors. Seat in the order of fastest to slowest always. Get rid of the businesswomen and young girls, college boys and hot shots then seniors. When you get to the end of the task you should have a gazzillion seniors to seat which is good so by then you can chain all of them in larger chains as they are patient and it doesnt matter if they are slow as they all move at the same pace. As far as snacks go, dont give them unless you have everyone in line happy and you can chain them. You will not lose points if you dont give a snack but if you can give one it is big points. When my gal had 4 arms and I knew that they were going to ask for snacks, I would grab 2 of each snack and that seemed to work out great, just remember to keep going back to that podium and keep the line happy no matter what, You lose mega pionts if even one customer leaves. If you have someone in line that is about to leave hold them in the air while the heart is filling up at the podium and drop them down right before the love increases then immediately seat them at a table close to the drink station and give them a drink fast to increase hearts. This worked great for me. Please write back and let me know if this worked for you. I am so happy I beat the game and I am going back now to try and get the expert score in the lower levels. Its funny but I couldnt get expert scores in the beginning and by the time I got to the end, I was able to get expert scores easily. I hope they make a sequel of this game it was really cute. OMG I am such a dingbat.. I did not know that you can chain with giving bills and cleaning dishes.. I am finally done the game and now I am going to go back and get expert on all the levels. What I ended up doing was seating the women like it was posted.. then the young guys to older guys but I also left all the tables dirty and just waited till I had 12 tables to clear the multiplier was really high by time I was done cleaning all 12 tables.. I even lost 4 tables in the final level and still even beat the expert score.. thanks to all who had posted and helped me and others out.

hi guys, thanks for the info. sail thru res 3 till level 7.... can't get high scores even though i did not miss out anybody...
anyway, i jus realise that when you collect bill from the last person and went on to clear the plates from all the tables, there won't be enough time to clear all... the "restuarant closing" wordings will flick out the the bill comes on...
so how did you manage to cleat 12 tables at one time??
enlighten me...

HI there, I think you directed your question to someone else but I just had to chime in, I would never, ever seat and serve 12 tables at once, I finished the entire game by seating only four tables at a time and keeping everyone in the line happy at all times so I didnt lose any customers. I am sure that you could do six but I have a touch pad not a regular mouse so I have to go a little slower than most. Point is, you can win this game if you are patient, Keep an eye on the hearts at all time. If you read my other posts in this thread it states what I did to win the game and believe me I was stuck at restaurant 2 level 8 for days and I almost gave up until I came here. I too was clearing the dishes right after paying the bill and not chaining correctly. That was losing me big points and I suspect that could be happening to others. Snacks give big points but only do them if you have plenty of time. Its not worth the points a snack gives you if it costs you a customer in line Also, seat in the order of speed. Businesswomen, little girls, hotshots, college boys and seniors. If you have all seniors at the end of your turn, you can take your time an chain big points. Color bonuses are important too in the high levels. I really wish you all luck and when you get to the last restaurant you will have 4 arms to work with and the game gets crazy fun~ I hope they make a sequel with desserts and other things.
