Age of Empires - The Conquerors Expansion

I am trying to make a working backup of the abovementioned cd. I am using HP 9300 Cd-Writer and clone cd. When reading the cd it displays "failed to read sector 821"

I used nero, burn age as an image file to your hard drive, then burn the image file from your harddrive on to your blank cd-r. the game will install but u cant play it from the cd. to fix this go to

http://bsk.rocks.it/

and use the no cd patch they have at there site.

remember to install the age patch 1.0c before you install the no-cd patch 1.0c

good luck... hope this helps

Hi there,
Try using CloneCD with only the Fast Error Skip option ticked.
I have an HP writer too.
It worked for me. I can install & play from the backup cd with no problems at all.

Hope it helps.
