Textual ads in posts now?
Just like intellitxt pops up an add when you hover over a word, this has now started happening in the posts on fileforums?
Words appear in GREEN like: time host job tech These pop up ads for Casinos, loans and get rich quick scams? Any comments?

Yes I do get them as well. Maybe its just a IE thing.
 The same words as Barry mentioned above except the word 'Job'. The word 'Games' is another one as well. But they dont appear in every post? Just the occaisonal one. For example the word 'Games' doesnt work as a link in my posts and not on 'all' posts. Just the odd post here and there. Also the words Barry mentioned dont always work as ad links. Sometimes I log in and Barrys words in his posts are links and sometimes the same words in Barrys post are not links? Strange but true.  (And yeh yeh I still use IE.  )

Must be random, as of this post 'loans' 'financially' and 'work' are green but none of the ones I mentioned!

im seeing this crap now in posts.. upgraded to firefox 2.0, doubt that caused it to happen tho... it seems the advertiser is scanning the html for 'key words', and then adjusting them to do a mini popup when you move the mouse over it...
spottable in green as mentioned before, with double underline... not as annoying as the full page ads tho... got a screenie of it, cant figure out how to attach tho heh... i tripped it by clicking 'search' and entering 'money' without the quotes...

Do you mean some clickleable links in people post words?
Maybe isn't a fileforums thing. I had long a go a problem like that . It was a nasty spyware program installed on my machine. Do some scans with your trusted antivirus / antispyware

You are right this isn't spyware. When i posted i didn't had this problem
Now I have it. It happens also on my Linux partition and in linux the spyware is zero effective It seems the advertiser www.adbrite.com or something like is has the fault of this anooying ads.
