trouble copying fifa 2001 pc

I have been having trouble copying fifa 2001. I copy the contents of the cd to the hd, then use the unsafedisc v1.5.5 to create the .exe file and substitute it and copy to a blank cd. That doesnt work (during instalation of the game with the back up it says something about a .cab file, and with the instalation from the original cd it doesnt work too). does anybody have any suggestions? I havent been able to copy straight from one cd to another, i guess my cd drive doesnt work for that. and if there s no way with the unsafedisc, does anyone have other suggestions? like blindread, clone cd or anything else?
