replaced exe and sims 3 world advetires keeps crashing after loading screen

I did as follows..

The Sims 3: World Adventures v2.3.33 [MULTI18] No-DVD/Fixed EXE
File Archive [3.6 MB]

Play Instructions:
•Install The Sims 3 game - Full Installation.
•Install The Sims 3: World Adventures Add-On - Full Installation.
•Apply the official The Sims 3: World Adventures v2.3.33 [WORLDWIDE] Patch.
•Replace the original <GameDir>\BIN\TS3EP01.EXE file with the one from the File Archive.
•Play the Game!

If I go to the bin and click on ep1 it goes as far as my family and goes to load them then says microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to close

If I click the sims 3 exe it doesnt even start.

Im really stuck now as im worried ive messed it all up I replaced the host thing as well as it instructed to do it

im sure I installed the patch.

Im baffled and im sorry if its in the wrong place im not used to this forum and couldnt work out where to post.

This was already answered. You need the crack for the Sims 3 also. Where did the last post go?
