memory card 16mb

i was wondering if anyone knows about a memory card that boots your 8mb to 24mb? are these good, is there software that goes with them.
here is some more info:

PLAYSTATION PS2 8MB x2 16MB 16 MB Memory Card

PlayStation 2 PS2 16MB Expansion Memory Card.
Expand your PlayStation 2 memory card capacity from 8MB (as an official memory card) by another 16MB to a total of 24MB! Finally you do not need to buy expensive memory cards anymore, just get this expansion memory card and instantly triple the amount of memory, from 8MB to 24MB!!

Is 8MB of save space not enough for you? Now triple that space and make it 24MB of memory! This expansion memory card adds 16MB of save space for your Playstation 2 games.

- Adds 16MB of memory to your 8MB memory card for a total of 24MB of memory
- Unlike other 16MB memory cards, this does not need to boot up any special software to work.
- Just plug and play, like a normal memory card.
- Insert an 8MB memory card into the 16MB Expansion Memory Card and then insert into the Playstation 2 system.
- The Playstation 2 will then read the 16MB of memory on the Expansion Memory Card.
- After the memory card is plugged in, the 8MB memory card can be removed and inserted in the other memory card slot so you can use the 16MB Expansion Memory Card and the 8MB memory card at the same time.
- Perfect for your PS2; High quality - don't worry about losing save.

Prices for Sony memory cards have come way down. I no longer trust 3rd party memory devices becasue I have lost my important saves several times. You can get a new double pack of Sony red and blue memory cards on ebay for under $30.

You gonna trust any one on eBay with $30, hell no.
Go to your local Circuit City and buy them, this was if they don’t work you can take them back. LOL buy them in Oregon and you wont have to pay sales tax.

I trust ebay people with $30. I am not saying buy used memory cards, that would just be stupid. I have done hundreds of transactions through ebay and never had one person take my money without supplying the product(had about 3-4 who never paid for my auction though) For the most part, ebay has trust worthy users. Very true about the sales tax in Oregon. Gotta love it.

16 MB is ****

Don't get that ****ty 16 MB Card.
You always have to boot with the boot-cd which is given with it and this is exhausting, if u always have to insert a boot disc and wait 5 minutes till u can play. I wished I had bought a 8 MB Standard Memory Card.

That's a different type of memory card, and yes those suck (unless you have the DMS3 chip).
The expansion cards he is talking about are good I got 2 32MB expansion cards I had them for over a year and they work good never lost files or anything, all you need to get them going is an original (or any regular 8mb memory card, I use a madcatz one) 8mb card that you insert into the expansion slot of the expansion card so the ps2 can see it then you can remove the 8mb card or leave it there it doesn't matter. Takes about a second for the ps2 to see it instead of five minutes for the other kind.

Thats one thing I really miss about Oregon, is the no sales tax. Grr have almost 8% here. All though they tax every thing else in Oregon... Theres only one city in the whole state of Oregon that has sales tax, and that Ashland.

There other thing I miss is the rain. Don’t see a lot of it here But we do get a lot of snow. And I'll trade the snow for rain any day.
