Gaming in linux using Vista in virtual machine
i'd really like to break free of windows and try something like ubuntu with beryl as my main OS.
i dont want to dual boot cause thats too slow and annoying. vista is a headache and linux with beryl.well looks freaking way better and faster i had the idea to use vlite and break vista down to just bare bottom essentials for gaming only and have it run in a virtual machine under linux does anyone know if its possible to install vista ultimate in a virtual machine like xen under linux and install pc games within it and work? supposedly xen is faster than vm ware using only 3%, i know virtual pc only supports 2d..gee wonder why even if its a tad slower to do so i wouldnt mind but just be happy to know its possible |

DirectX-based games will probably not run in that environment; or, if they do, the graphics will be extremely slow. Try again in 5-10 years!
