Lost my ID3 TAG's HELP!!!
A while back my external HD with all my mp3's crashed and needed CHKDSK to be run. After it finished I noticed all my mp3's were renamed "FILE0001.chk, FILE0002.chk...etc." After Changing all the .chk extensions back to mp3 the ID3 tags are still missing so I can't use my tag editor to rename the file. If I open the mp3 file with wordpad I can see the Tag info still there but it won't read out. Is there something I can do besides open every one of my 6000 mp3's to find the Tags and rename the file? Is there some software I can use to make this go faster. I use these files for my DJ job and it's put a stop to it.
Thanks Kevin |
