Dark Souls - Inno Setup - This is not a conversion, it's just custom installer
Dark Souls (Inno Setup - This is not a conversion, it's just custom installer)
Based on CI 8.5.6.4 by yener90. Music: "Daughters of Chaos" - From Dark Souls Original Soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba. Code:
About versions: v1.0 - First release; (65 downloads) v1.1 - Current release; Updated to CI.8.5.6.4; The attachment included vcredist_x86.exe. Note: I thought this game would DVD9 but I was wrong. So I decided to post it anyway. I hope you enjoy! 1. Install the game. Download attachment and extract in your HD. 2. From your original files, copy DirectX folder and GFWL folder to Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\Redist. 3. Open InstallerScript.iss and change the first line according to your game installation path: Code:
#define ProgramFiles "C:\Program Files (x86)\Namco Bandai Games\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition" 5. Move to: Code:
Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition: Setup-1*.bin files; Setup.cab; Setup.dll; Setup.exe; Setup.ini 6. Make ISO's and test before you burn. Screenshots: Last edited by Fabioddq; 13-09-2012 at 13:16. Reason: Updated to v1.1 |

Works fine, but can you do something to support multilanguage?
The official installer selects the correct language for the game after installation, Im asking this because there is no way to change language in the game itself so it will have to be done during installation. |

But is there a way to change the language after installing the game. I believe you use the mod resolution. So, download latest version DSFix v1.3 here: http://minus.com/lbbnnLN2RbkE8H Follow the instructions to install. To change the language open the file with name: DSfix.ini Search for the following parameters: Code:
# override the in-game language # none = no override # en-GB = English, fr = French, it = Italian, de = German, es = Spanish # ko = Korean, zh-tw = Chinese, pl = Polish, ru = Russian # this does not work in Windows XP! overrideLanguage none I tested. Works great! Thanks for your feedback. Last edited by Fabioddq; 24-09-2012 at 21:23. |
