my playstation won't read copied games and has a hard time reading non copied games.

Please i need help in fixing my ps. it use to work fine when i did the swap trick but for some odd reason, it just decided that it wouldn't read any of the copied games i have and the games that are not copied seem to load slower than usual and that it tends to skip a every few frames or so.

it sounds like you have a 1 series with dodgy laser

the swap trick ruined your laser buy a modchip try www.modchipusa.com

Try cleaning the lens on the laser assembly. If this doesn't help their are some other things you could try if your comfortable opening up the playstation. Goto ####:geocities.com/psxrepair/definitions.html
