Angry Nero, and Pioneer dvr 104 with 1.20 firmware.... is it the culprit??

Ok, I updated my burner with the 1.20 software. before I did this I had burned a copy of tekken with a memorex dvd-r using nero and it works better than perfect. Since then I have updated the firmaware, now I cant burn a copy and get it to work at all. WTF??? Also, I made a copy of it using the Primo folling exact instructions, and it worked (before the firmware) except the movies wont play. Now that I upgraded the firmware, it also has made a coster. here is the method I used with nero to make the perfect burn (and I still have this exact image, but it wont work, and I haqve tried to make another image with no luck in the burn depart ment as well) :

I set nero to DVD instead of cd.

in the nero browser, I go to recorders, and select image recoder (virtual device).

then I go to file/copy cd, and the dvd copy comes up. I burn the image to the correct place on my HD and name it tekken4.nrg

After it has burned the image to my HD successfully, I go back to recorders

I then change the recorder to my Pioneer dvr-104.

I go to file/burn image and browse to the tekken4.nrg

It burns successfully, but the game locks up on a black screen after all swapping is done.

I found out that my nero wouldnt even recognize my DVD burner after I had installed Daemon's Tools on mmy system, so I uninstalled that fast. Maybe that has something to do with it. I now have Nero 5.5.8.0, it was 5.5.7.2..... but I dont want to try it again and waste another DVD-R ( too damn expensive!!:O).

Also, I got the new CloneCD4, and I cant get it to write using my DVD-RW drive. it read to an image fine, but it wont burn anything... anyone know whats up with this stuff?

Oh ya, one more thing.. should the buffer underrun be on or off when burning a DVD-R backup with Nero?
