error message

Hi,

Still semi new to DVD copying but i have successfully cloned 80 plus movies so far using ANYDVD and CLONEDVD 2. I have a pioneer 107 with updated firmware. I use ritek media.
2 movies have both given me similar error messages and was wondering if anyone knows the cause and possible solutions.

the error occurs during the dvd image creation. The first movie (The Thing collectors edition) generates the error before it even starts the image dump. The second movie (Bladerunner, Directors Cut) give the error after several minutes of scanning file but before the image gets past zero percent.

error message is as follows:

Creation of DVD files was not successful

Scheduler 0 F:/VIDEO_TS: unable to open file TCSectorReader TCE

any help is appreciated

Red disc? If anything try using a different dvd reader to read your disc. If all else fails then your dvd is probably bad.
