Flat Out Protection

Has anyone bought this (Released in UK today), and used A-Scanner to check the protection. I played the demo, which was superb, but it restarted my machine, which looks like it may be Ye olde pal Starforce.

Flat Out

I've used Clony XXL for scanning this game. And Clony has find out that it is protected with SafeDisc.

Ever so slightly off topic, but I played the demo last night. Cool game. The Nitrous effect has been blatently stolen from Burnout (I think even Midnight Club had that blur effect too). Even that whole 'throw the driver through the windscreen' has a Takenout/Takedown feel to it (also from Burnout). If you dont have access to Burnout 3, then get this, as its probably the closest you will ever get to Burnout on the PC

Riiiiiiiiiisssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I believe it's not out in the US until next year. Does this mean less chance of a NOCD do you think?

i bought it yesterday it´s a really good game, really reminds me of the good old destruction derby times , scanned the first cd ( btw cd 2 is also protected) with aray and it says safedisc 2( if it was 3.2.xxx, aray would have recognized it), so it´s gotta be a new revision of safedisc, it´s like clony xxl said or says safedisc 2 when scanning a disc with safedisc 3...well i made an image with clone cd 5 and mounting with dt works fine, you can play via back up, also tried mir, sadly doesn´t work, so it´s a new safedisc version i guess....

its rlly weird that my scan came out with nothing o.O anyhow, yes it feels nostalgic i used to love the DD games, and it rlly pissed me off when the third in the series (RAW) only came out on psx, fecking bastards. Aniways no one seems to play flatout online just yet, :P
