Battlefield 1942 3.1 CTD problem

Hello everyone, i got a problem.. I searched for an answer on these boards but didnt find any so here it gos...

When i launch battlefield 1942 it launchs fine,
if the first server i click on and get on it in the first try then it
works fine... BUT if i click on a server and get a cd key in use screen then go back to the servers then try to reconnect to a diffrent or same server it CTD's me (crashes to desktop).

Has anyone had the same problem with the 3.1 patch and if so is there anotherone out there that would not do this? i never had a problem with the 1.2 but this 3.1 is causing me problems, also i just reinstalled bf1942 and updated it with just the 3.1 patch to try and solve the problem because i heard somewhere that this could cause a problem because of the 1.2 update. This hasnt fixed the problem.

First of all: I think anyone uses your CD Key! And than the crash is normal!!!!!!!!!!!
