Operation Flashpoint 1.20 update

I'm trying to upgrade Operation Flashpoint 1.00 into 1.20, but I can't.
Ok, I tried doing this:
Fixed Update Instructions - Revision #2:

Create the following directory:
TempDir: C:\TEMP\UPDATE
Check that at least 160 MB diskspace is available!
Extract the official Operation Flashpoint v1.20 Patch to the TempDir.
Extract the unSafeDisc v2.40.10 archive to the TempDir.
Execute Safedisc_v2_40_10_Dumper.EXE, select OFPPatch_Upgrade_1_20.exe [54,661,026 bytes] and click Open.
This will create the dumped ofppatch_upgrade_1_20.exe.data.bin file.
Execute Safedisc_v2_40_10_Rebuilder.EXE, select ofppatch_upgrade_1_20.exe.data.bin [53,800,608 bytes] and click Open.
This will create the build OFPPatch_Upgrade_1_20.exe file.
Rename the rebuild sdv2.testme.exe to: OFP_120_Fixed_Update.exe
Extract the Patch Archive to the game directory.
Use a HexEditor, like UltraEdit-32, open the OFP_120_Fixed_Update.exe file and check which string is at position: $000002a0
Possible Strings: "suicide!", "nofear", "street knowledge", "hideous kinky", "spellbound", "r!sc woz ere", "-razor 1911 rtl-" & "can you feel it!"
Execute the correct PATCHFX-{str}-{nr}.EXE Patch and apply it to: OFP_120_Fixed_Update.exe
Replace the {str} for the found string and replace {nr} for the Patch.
Now apply the Operation Flashpoint v1.20 [ALL] No-CD or Operation Flashpoint v1.20 [ALL] Fixed EXE instructions and play the game!

When I try to use Safedisc_v2_40_10_Dumper.EXE on the official patch, my comp freezes... I've tried it on 2 other computers and 1 freezes, the other gives me a random error. So, I figure, I'm screwed unless someone sends me a link to the cracked patch. Or atleast give me some suggestions... Anything is well appreciated.

Now it worked!!!

If the comp freezes all you have to do is to wait.
I'm not sure how long I waited but it was awhile.
And finally the comp came back to life.

But here is the next problem, the PatchFX-nofear-1.EXE gives me and CRC error, what the hell can this mean???

Finally the game runs.
I fowllowed the instructions at GameCopyWorld, except this sentence :
Execute the correct PATCHFX-{str}-{nr}.EXE Patch and apply it to: OFP_120_Fixed_Update.exe

The patch gives me a CRC check error.

Can anybody tell me if this "PatchFX-nofear-1.EXE" is necessary?
I mean I installed the patch without it and the game runs also without it, so for what is it good?
