Pathologic - Patch ? , trainer ?

There is a file in gamecopyworld for the game "Pathologic" that is called "NO-REESTR PATCH". Anybody know exactly what it does? is it some sort of trainer?

Also does anybody know if there is an unofficial english translation of the game somewhere? -because the official english release is awful...
