Final Fantasy IV - 1xCD/DVD [Install Creator]
FINAL FANTASY IV 1 x CD/DVD Conversion by VollachR
Installation supports the following languages: English, French, German, Russian, Italian, Spanish Tested on Windows 8.1 64Bit Instructions: 1. Install Final Fantasy IV 2. Download & Install Install Creator 2.5.1 from here: http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=94605 3. Download & Extract FFIV.rar from the attachments bellow 4. Start Install Creator and open the file FF4Setup.icp 5. Click Resources & Then Media [Internal] 6. Select the source line by click on {app} in the output column 7. Bellow, click the magnifying glass on the Source box and select the folder where Final Fantasy IV is installed 8. Click Deployment & Media 9. Under Output click the magnifying glass and select the FFIV folder that came with the conversion. 10. Browse to your FFIV installation folder and check if there are uninstall files such as unins000.exe & unins000.dat for example, if there are, copy them anywhere outside the installation folder, otherwise move to next step. Remove these files if they exist 11. Move the following folders from the game installation to the FFIV folder where the new setup was created: Code:
_CommonRedist Move this folder from install dir And put it here 12. Back to "Install Creator", click "Build" and wait for it to finish compiling the setup, shouldn't take more that 2-3 mintues. 13. Close "Install Creator", enter the FFIV folder that came with the conversion, you should now have the following files & folders: 14. Add any additional folders you like such as Crack, Update, Soundtrack etc and put the relevant files into them. 15. Use any ISO/Burning software to create and ISO from the contents of the FFIV folder, test the conversion & burn. Problems in the conversion
Hello guys!
It is the first time I try to use a Installer Creator conversion! I tried everything how it was explained but I only get an error! I will try more times, but I need some help! Thanks for the good work! PS.: I am using the Installer Creator 2.8.0.0 there are some changes in menus and options! Last edited by DarkSyrius; 09-02-2015 at 13:29. |

I had similar problem when I tried opening my project with version 2.7, just don't do that, use 2.5.1, you can install both versions, just install each to a different folder on your computer with the one you use most installed latest, it will make it the default one and the other one you can start manually from install folder, that's what I do, I have 2.7 & 2.5.1 at the same time. |

I have tried many times, but I am getting different errors! hehehe I have not tried with version 2.5 because I was not found that version, only the latest one. But I look more and I found this old version in another forum! And your conversion worked like a charm! it worked great! Many thanks again!
